Honor Roll Qualifications/ Bumper Sticker Distribution
The 1st Quarter Principal's and Regular Honor Rolls have been completed and are attached. In order to be on either honor roll, the student must not have any F's, Incompletes or No Marks. The grade point average (GPA) needed for Principal's Honor Roll is 3.71 or higher and for Regular Honor Roll, the required GPA must be between 3.0 and 3.70.
Honor Roll bumper stickers will be given out during both lunches on Wednesday April 30th and Thursday May 1st in the multi-purpose room. Students must have their student ID card to get the bumper sticker.
If your student meets the requirements for Honor Roll but is not listed, please have him or her see Mrs. Summers in Student Services.

First Semester Honor Roll
Qualifications for Honor Roll
Congratulations to everyone who made the Honor Roll! To be on either honor roll, a student must have a qualifying GPA (Grade Point Average), may not have any F's, Incompletes, or No Marks. The GPA used is the semester GPA.
The qualifying GPA for Principal's Honor Roll is 3.71 or above.
The qualifying GPA for Regular Honor Roll is 3.0 to 3.70.
If you believe that you (or your student) should be on the Honor Roll for the 1st semester and is not, please direct your questions to Connie Summers in Student Services at East Ave.

School Loop
We want to introduce you to an exciting tool for communicating with our families. School Loop is an Internet web-based education service that will provide a free homework email and a website specifically relating to your child at East Avenue Middle School. The cost will be paid for this year by our Parent Booster organization. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this option so you will have quick access to this service. The whole process will take under five minutes once you log on. Please follow these steps to register:
1. Go to www.eams.schoolloop.com
2. Click:Register Now
3. For Students - Click: I am a student. For Parents - Click I am a parent or caregiver
4. Fill out the form - you must have the student identification number. This is the same ID number that students had last year. It appears on the student schedule slip that you received at Orientation.
Once you have registered and the school year has begun, you may access your student's classes and assignments. School Loop is safe and secure because all members publish in their own names (automatically linked to the student identification number). All information you provide is kept private, especially your email address. Your patience is appreciated as we grow with School Loop and learn how to most effectively use this beneficial tool.
This year School Loop has added a grade book to the information system. We have some teachers piloting the grade book. Parents with students in those classes will be able to access their student's grades. Not all teachers will have the grade book option. Please give one of us a call or email if you have any questions.
